A Collaborative Model

We take a very holistic and collaborative approach to leadership coaching and believe this is essential to creating real change. Our approach involves ascertaining clearly what the coachee and other stakeholders are looking to achieve through the coaching process, understanding current state, and measuring and monitoring changes throughout the coaching process through feedback from the coachee themselves and nominated other people.

With many of our clients, this is an iterative process. Once they’ve addressed a particular need or issue, we will often go on to work with them on building new skills or addressing different issues.

The process we follow is shown below.

 Key Stages:

  1. Involve the leaders being coached in determining the desired behaviour in their leadership roles.
  2. Involve the leaders being coached in deciding who the coach should speak to for feedback on the coachee and their progress
  3. Collect feedback (Interviews, 360° questionnaires, simple questionnaire)
  4. Reach agreement on key behaviours to focus on for change
  5. Leaders seek feedback from stakeholders along the way.
  6. Review what has been learned with the leaders and develop action plans.
  7. Develop an on-going follow-up process.
  8. Review results and start again on new topics
